New Finewater Tsav

AJ it's soooo pretty! I am considering it - I've been wanting a tsav for a while, it's beautiful, precision cut, and I think I could deal with the size

I''ve only purchased this one stone so..I would say the green was accurate, but the stone has a bit more black/darkness sections IRL..

Hello C - sure I can. My fee will be one ticket to the US - for you, I will fly economy

I did like it other than size - I understand from Gary''s description it is considered just a tad darker than "ideal". In that sense, I think for me personally I would want perhaps a tad lighter than "ideal", if that makes sense?

the cutting really was lovely. I just didn''t have any setting concepts for it either..
it will look great as a solitaire with BEG''s tiny fingers

Actually, I''m not married yet, he he...I just put it on for colour of gold comparison..but it''s a lovely band isn''t it? It was actually an ebay find, it is vintage ArtCarved (but was "new stock" - never purchased).

unfortunately it''s a size or so too large for my ring finger..
But I am considering when the time comes to add bead or horse shoe sizers to use it as a w-band.

There''s a thread around with nicer pics if you''re keen..

waayy outta my budgetary league atm though

MTG I would drop Gary a line - he seriously couldn''t be nicer and more helpful, and in my experience is always willing to take/send more photos of stones.

He also just got back from a buying trip, so could have something nicer for you too

That''s ok! Actually we haven''t set a date...we''re both very happy with the way things are now and aren''t in any rush.
If I had to speculate, it will be after we both finish Uni (so another year or so).

Here is the original antique artcarved thread, which if you read through you will find ended up being pretty darn funny due to the antics of one odd ex-member..

And here is another thread I did with my collection of Art Carved bands
link. I''ve gotten another 2 I think since then..but the vintage one is probably my best ebay find..

If I were you, I would wear the band now as a RHR and consider getting sizing balls or a horseshoe sizer if you want it as a wedder. It''s too pretty to keep in your jewelry box!! I''d be afraid to resize and muck up the pattern.
