For those of you who are bookish, you may want to keep an eye out for this volume, published this year by Yale University Press.
It is an absolutely stunning read (richly illustrated) and for cut nuts, details the early cutting techniques found in the Renaissance period.
I, for one, am very glad to add this fine volume to my personal library.
