Hello everyone, If you guys could give me your opinions on this victor canera diamond that would be great.

I posted before about getting work done from leon mege but you guys have swayed me into getting a quote from VC. I decided on an Emiyla setting with a Cathedral shank and want to know if you guys think this stone will pair well with it. I still just a little worried about ordering something i have never seen in person. If you guys could give your thoughts on the light performance, color, and clarity that would be awesome. I just dont want there to be a real noticeable difference in the center stone from the rest of the ring. The clarity I dont really care about as long as its eye clean. I just really want it to sparkle and really stun my girlfriend. She has know idea that i'm doing this and want to take her by surprise. I just want to know if I should drop in size to go up in color but to me the stone looks pretty white. Let me know what you guys think!

The great thing about putting an I coloured stone into that halo is it will hide some of the colour anyway, hopefully Sox and some of the others will appear to show you - they have J & K coloured stones in that halo and it looks just fine.

As far as cut, that is a pretty darn nice stone.

I think the ring and diamond will be gorgeous!!! I am a huge fan of a I SI1s because the clarity is a good value (assuming eye clean) and I color still looks very white to me. I start noticing color at J, but even at that, only from the side profile, which will be covered with a halo. Here is a link to my I SI1 if you want to see pictures (not a halo though). I can't wait to see pictures of your ring!!!

I am not a diamond expert but to my untrained eye the diamond looks gorgeous!!
It's going to be a stunning ring! What a big surprise for your girlfriend. I love the Emilya with the cathedral shank by the way!

the stone looks to be a knockout: regarding color, I wouldnt worry at all. I must say that color is somewhat overrated as a variable. There was a time in the not too distant past that color was a tertiary characteristic. I have come across many older stones in lower colr ranges that were signed rings by Harry Winston, Tiffany and so on. In fact, in round stones I think the softer tone gives the stone a more appealing quality. Very white rounds can look a little CZ-ish. However, that being said a well cut stone will reflect so much light and generate so much dispersion I dont think it will be an issue. Victor has an amazing reputation.

That stone will be gorgeous in the emilya. Here is a pic of my K color stone in the emilya.

YAY!! I think you will be over the moon with your ring. Please come back and share pics when you receive it. This is the setting I am now saving for and I also have an I color stone, so I am super excited to see it.

Of course I'll post pics once its done. Thanks to everybody that give your opinions and everyone on here. Without pricescope I for sure wouldn't have known half as much as I do now. This is such a great site to learn and understand about diamonds and settings. I really feel like I'm going to get the best for my money. Thank you guys!
