blinky, I love the rocker shot too. The funny thing is, I was so drawn to that picture after I first took that batch, but I couldn''t figure out why. It''s not like the ring looked particularly special, but I just got the calmest feeling Everytime I looked at it. I kept wondering why, and then it finally dawned on me, because my "nanny''s" rocker was sitting softly in the background.

Angeline, I forgot to answer your question about the height. Sorry! Yes, with the depth of the stone at almost 6.25, it couldn''t sit really low. Some angles make it look a bit higher than it really is. I was wondering how it would wear in real life (knocking it on things), but it really is not bad at all.



It really has done my heart good to hear so many of you say my grandmother would be proud and that she would approve. This decision was not taken lightly, so thank you all for assuring me it was well made!

My jaw literally dropped, this new ring of yours is just sooo spectacular! Its utter perfection, and I love that you love the history behind it to make it even more special.
I never thought I''d be a coloured gems fan, but yours and other PS''ers step cut coloureds are really making me a believer.

The pictures are gorgeous, but I bet they don''t even do it justice - I''m sure it has so much colour and depth IRL, I''d *love* to see it in person!
And of course, the setting is perfect - I''m not sure what you had in mind from Quest, but I for one am glad you went with LM..the solitaire showcases it just right without taking any credit away from the stone..
