My new Cushion!!!

[Stone Hunter]

A BIG thank you to PS for all the help researching diamonds. You are all very friendly and helpfull. With everything I learned I selected this cushion for my 15th anniversary.

It is a 1.62ct I/VS1 with med. blue fluor. The depth is 67.9% and table is 57%
Polish EX Sym VG

It has an almost 2ct spread at 8.13 x 6.42 x 4.36mm My ring size is 5 but this ring is a 5.25. The setting is a Danhov E15

that is really pretty!! I swear it looks the same size or bigger on your finger than mine does on mine! I can''t wait for mine to be done!! I''m hoping by thanksgiving!!

That's more of a very pretty white light shot. We tend to call the colored rays fire. And I'm sure your beautiful cushion can capture some.

Thanks. I''ve been practicing my photo taking to make the wait for the cushion go by faster.

I got this cushion from James Allen. He was so nice to talk to and email with. He let me stop by his MD office and view 3 stones in person!! I was on vacation in Virginia so he was a good vendor choice for me. Plus he had the setting I wanted. As you recall I wanted to make my life easy and get the setting and stone from one vendor. Jim really won my business by being very kind, prompt, having the setting, and geographic location. I highly recommend James Allen.

It was hard waiting for the stone to be set because I kept thinking it might not be as good as I thought when I saw it at the JA office. I know I''m not the only one on PS that''s had that fear. LOL

Ellen I thanks for clearing up the fire/scintillation thing. Fire = colored flashes. I did try to get some shots of that after reading your post. I''ll upload them on Wed if my techie skills hold.

By the way the L/W ratio is 1.27 which is rectangular. I was looking for a rectangular cushion.
