One quick tip about photographing rings - to get less blurry pics, lower your ISO on your camera, switch it to Manual Macro (not Digital Macro), turn off the flash, set the ring and camera down so neither are moving (or use a tripod) and zoom in a bit. You should be ale to get some stunning macros that way.
