These were taken with the Nikon Coolpix in macro mode - auto mode. Point and shoot. I apologize if this seems braggy, but I was giddy with the new camera and I''ve been going nuts taking photos. I apologize again for the horrid native cuts on my stones.

My first flower shot (if you think of a weed as a flower).

TL - what a difference your new camera makes! I love your Tourmalines before but ............. I WANT THEM NOW! Mmmmmmm, yummy! Lucky lucky you!

Thank you for taking the time to retake pictures of your gemstones. The colours look so much better than your older photographs. Everything looks bright and vivid.

WoW! Fire away and take lots more pix, they are beautiful! Love how vividly the colors show, especially the cuprian and other blue/green stones - luscious!

Fabulous pics, TL!

I''ve been dying to see some of your collection with your new camera. You are very affectionately known to my DH and I as "the PSer with the amazing gems but blurry pics", but I can see that''s gonna change. Have fun with the camera, and please, please take more pics - I know you have lots more gorgeous gems.

Wowza! Those colors are seriously bright! They''re beautiful!

Wow, cool pix, ha ha ha! Seriously, great shots and I love all the colors.

That''s hillarious. Thanks Cellentani!! I have to get some loose stone shots one of these days.

Thanks Gekodani and Catmom,
I''m glad you like the colors, as I know something about the stones have to make up for the dreadful cutting on some of them. My rubellite, round loose cuprian, and the mint grossular are precision cuts, but I know the rest are just badly cut.
