My 4 carat Graff engagement ring

Hi there!

You seem to be very interested in how big in MM certain diamonds are & ask on a lot of older threads. I think for excellent cut diamonds, the MM size only varies by a teeny tiny amount, so you could find that information from an internet search, where you’ll get a table of carat v sizes.

Also the size of the ring affects the look. If I put a 4ct on my 5.25 finger, it’s going to look much bigger than on a size 8 finger.

Is there anything in particular with a ring you are searching for? The people in Rocky Talk could certainly help you out, as lots of the posters of these older threads are not often active here anymore to answer your questions.

G from the states so I can't see the stone in person it's special cut and they cut a 10.43 mm and I'm trying to gauge if it will look classy on my finger or if say a 10 mm would be better... I had a 9mm oec diamond and I loved it but yes I def wanted a bigger size after 4 years ... just trying to see finger size and mm to see what it bay look like

You definitely need to look at the OEC thread, as people post full stats in there (finger size, carat size & mm) as OEC’s, as I’m sure you know, are a much deeper stone & therefore face up smaller than a MRB. They are also cut by hand, so each stone’s diameter will vary despite being the same carat weight, which adds to their personality.

Please do come back & post pictures when you’ve found your ring!
