Melee Diamonds Question

Hi guys,

Im working on a project that requires approximately 80 x 0.005ct diamonds. AfricaGems appears to sell melee diamonds and these are the two Im looking at. They both cost the same, so I guess my question is - which of the two would you select and why?

They sell CanadaMark H&A melee (https://www.africagems.com/calibrated-canadian-round-e-vs.html) with the following specs:

• Dimensions 1.00 mm to 4.00 mm
• Clarity VS
• Shape Round Hearts & Arrows

• Make Very Good
• Symmetry Very Good
• Treatment No Treatment
• Identification CandaMark™

They also sell Ideal Cut Melee (https://www.africagems.com/calibrated-precision-diamond-vs-fg.html) with the following specs:

• Dimensions 0.80 mm to 3.40 mm Range
• Clarity VS
• Shape Round

• Make Excellent
• Symmetry Excellent
• Treatment No Treatment
• Identification Dealer

Additionally, is it worth forking out the extra $$$ for H&A/Ideal Cut Melee?

Forgive my ignorance, but I would have thought hearts and arrows would mean the make and symmetry is ideal?

Do get in touch with WF and HPD - I know both use ideal cut melee so may be able to assist.

Thanks! I contacted them both and neither sell their melee unset. But David from good Old Gold is going to sort me out
