Sure! Here it is... mind you, these spessartites in the bracelet are more yellow. The pink stones are pink spinels.
When choosing between a smaller, more yellow spess, and this larger, more pure orange spess in the ring, I chose this even though it’s not a perfect match. C4FB950C-4688-4E09-8E07-0896D1FBD820.jpeg

A really nice combo would be fanta spess, Mahenge pink spinels, and lemon-lime chrysos....the neon types. Those 3 blend well together with a good design. The combo has a refreshing citrus feel. :)

I love fresh open colored gems in the spectrum of those citrus colors!

IMG_0249.jpg

Left chrysoberyl, top right spinel (camera not shows the tiny orange hue in the spinels, bit to much on the pink side here), down right sapphires. All natural and untreated.

Ooh, I figured it out!

The video is everything!
Just the motion to see all those set angles and the cutting on that spess twinkly sparkling together is beautiful harmony.

I've been on an asscher quest, first I tried diamond and it wasn't a winner, then I stumbled upon this pastel blue zircon! The cutter made matching trap sides because that's another shape I've wanted for a long time, and I think it'll make a nice fluid chunky gypsy ring. I'm such a fan of yellow gold that even after everyone voted white in my other thread, I've got to go with my heart and have as much luscious yellow gold as I can get. This will be my "sunny day" ring. Just waiting to see video of wax model now! (I photoshopped the stones into a gypsy below).

I'm also working on a "tropical vibes" version because apparently I don't know when to stop. That one is already underway, with emerald cut diamond sides, and an emerald cut lab paraiba (also photoshopped below)

Well, my spess ring is finished! I’m really so in love with it, especially the long, languid lines. DK struggled to find any matching pink sapphires during this Covid time, and I’m just so pleased with how it turned out. I wish I could show the video here, but don’t know how to do that.

Current project, I don't do metal work but I did cut the stones. Rhodolite and sapphire in sterling. received_227778208434826.jpeg

Really pretty stones! I like your setting. Do you now handoff to a metal person? Why do you prefer sterling?

It’s gorgeous! :love::love::love:
I love how you wrapped the halo around like that. The whole things is smooth, flowing lines and bright citrus colors. I love it!

Thank you, @Niffler75 and @elle_71125 !

im pleased with this halo because it’s not clustered together With the center stone as most of my other halos are...( though that’s a beautiful style )...in this design, all the stones have their own spaces and levels, which is an airy and flowing look. It’s nice to have something a little different that way.

So here are some morning, indoor shots of the ring. Really loving the warmth of the stone. It does have a small window, but that personally doesn’t bother me. ( though, if In the future, I need to repair the ring at some point, I may consider a slight pavilion re cut.)
Spess garnet around 4.5 carats, Portuguese cut, Nambian, very clean, Sunkist orange color, size 8 ring size so I can wear it in my index and middle fingers. Today wearing on my ring finger because my left hand is my safer hand against knocks. Since it clashes with my blue sapphire E ring, today it’s my loose e ring replacement.

I'm working on a fun (and very affordable) colored gemstone project now. I only have a picture of the projected setting, but its going to be a 14k rose gold ring (1.9mm width band) with a 9×7 mm rose quartz oval Cabochon.

That’s going to be lovely and super wearable! I really love the strong architecture of the prongs and the prong bases.

Thanks for the kind words:) I'm just a serious hobby faceter, took one silversmithing course and decided I needed to leave metalworking to the professionals. I don't really have a preference towards sterling. I just figured I'd have my favorite goldsmith do something for me to help out. Times are tough, I've still got my real job, so it seemed like a good time to get something made

My black opal and purple garnet ring is finished!
I am not good at taking pictures of opals, so I’m sharing screen shots of the setting progress from the maker of the ring, Emma Elizabeth Jewelry. I met Emma at an art fair and admired her bold and unique designs. I wanted this ring to be different from the pieces I already have, and Emma delivered without taking me too far out of my comfort zone :)).
The ring is made from my old gold that Emma melted down and re-used. The purple garnets came from Sukrita at Aurelia Gems. The black opal is from @jordyonbass at M’s Opal World. It shows a hot pink flash across its face when the light hits it just right.

I‘m working on a pendant project. The rose cut pear on top is a diamond coming from an antique brooch (which will stay intact as a brooch, just the pear was removed) the other stones are zircon. It will be bezel set in rose gold. 2C134A48-6DA5-4F7E-B8D8-87E2B53C25B7.jpeg

It turned out great! I love the pinky color combo and the way the setting “swoops” on the top and bottom. It’s gorgeous!
