I love wearing diamond bands with my solitaire every now and again but when I wear my plain band there is just something breathtaking about the simplicity of a plain solitaire with a plain diamond band!

This was mine, a 1.13ct solitaire. I still have the diamond, but reset now into a halo with 10 .10ct diamonds. I still wear the 2 wedding bands with it.

This is my 1.14ct solitaire worn with my 5mm plain band. The ER is in the process of being reset and hopefully i will soon be able to post the new ring

4.01ct I VS1 ACA in platinum head, 18kt yellow gold shank, by DKJ. With 2.2mm 18kt yellow gold milgrained wedder, which was made in a different country, using a different alloy. Consequently, they're not exactly the same color - tho they look on the hand as tho they match. The wedder needs a polish, so most of the color difference is actually just the dullness of the metal.

I love this set. It's not my final setting, but I'm in no rush to change it.

ETA I also think this should be encouraging for anyone concerned that an I colored stone will be 'too yellow'. Choosing carefully makes all the difference in this color grade, and the folks at WF are a great help in this.
