^ Probably not, but I am not gentle on my everyday "work" ring. haha Strong solvents don't bother metals at all. Strong soaps usually don't. I also have used Tide soap or given my ring a swish in the soapy water while the washing machine is filling up. (Yeah, I still use the old top loader kind.) Strong acids or bases can be more of a risk. Generally, the metals used for fine jewelry (platinum, gold, silver) are corrosion-resistant for the most part.
So I finally made the big first purchase and I need to clean up the ring a little from my handling. I have read through this topic and I saw the recommendation for KYCloth. Does anyone know a website where these are readily available in the US? Or a similar strong soft cloth to use in the recommended process by 30yeardiamonds.
Any help to find a strong, very soft microfiber cloth for diamonds is greatly appreciated.
