This is a collaborative work of the GOG team and Wink. My thanks to Jonathan, Kirsten and Marie from GOG as well as Wink, Sheila and Sandy from Winfields. There has been many long threads about picking the diamond, sapphires and setting designs.
Picking the right Jubilee
Picking the right setting
How's the sapphires?
Here are the stats on the Jubilee:
0.70ct J VS2
I must also thank MMM and Katbadness for their help in discussing how to best set the Jubilee. The posted picture does it NO justice. Wink is just awful at photography (I think Q needs to give him lessons or Wink needs to hire her).
The Jubilee is so sparkly I can't even see the facets to appreciate the cut. It actually put my H&A RB to shame. The trillion sapphires are such a saturated blue. They are not dark at all like in the picture. Have I said that Wink needs to take better pictures? It's too bad they are so tiny in real life but bigger sapphires will look out of proportion. Which means I'll need a bigger Jubilee to get bigger sapphires. Do you see where I am headed?
Well, joking aside, I will not be upgrading this but I might get more (and larger) sapphires for some other project.
In the meantime, there will be no more pictures because I have no scanner and no digital camera.
Sorry folks.
I want to show off this gorgeous ring more but I can't do it without pictures.
