Gosh, I just can''t tell you guys how much my experience on PS has meant to me! I''ve learned so much here & enjoyed hearing everyone''s stories & seeing so many gorgeous rings, I was really looking forward to finally posting a ring of my own. It''s been just amazing reading all of your responses & seeing so many familiar faces.

A big thank you to kaleigh, my first PS friend, for always being there for me through everything from the beginning, velouriaL, for helping me decide what was right for me & convincing me to have the patience to wait for it to come to fruition (hopefully I did the same for you!), valeria101, design & photoshop genius, for helping me nail down the finer details of the ring design, to mrssalvo & diamondlil for holding my hand through the custom ring process, Milly for sending the diamond fairy in my direction, moremoremore for making me laugh, the list goes on and on.... I really love the work in the gallery too! I''m so glad I didn''t have it removed to fit a wedding band. I''m surprised at how much I enjoy looking at the ring from different angles. It does look like a thin band will fit fairly snugly against the e-ring. Yay!

GOG has my check just waiting for it to clear so they can send it to me. The design will be a Daniel K inspired halo ring, but I added a few twists. I am putting diamonds going up the prongs and am adding diamonds to the gallery. It will be done in platinum. I will post cad images as I get them. The asscher is .92 E VS1. It is going to be amazing, thanks to Storm!!!!!!

Just came back for another look. I can''t get over how beautiful it is. I wish Quest had sent you a picture of all the little pieces before putting the ring together. I''m sure that was not an easy job. Can you post the inspiration ring for comparison?

Yup, that was the inspiration, sevens! I think my RB makes it look fairly different from the ring w/ the OEC.

Diamondlil, yeah, I''d actually requested to see each piece as it was made, but apparently that would''ve put a huge kink in the production process. I think being in the dark just added to the suspense, though! It really came out perfectly. I''m also enjoying the mix of the pave (bead set) diamonds, milligraining & the smooth metal. The shank is so comfortable.
 
I just compared both the inspiration ring and the real thing, and Quest did such a great job capturing the details. I wish I could see it in person. Any progress on the wedding band?
