I took a closer look. the crystal looks ok.
I leaning towards the light return being a-ok but not 100% sure.
If you can't get images it depending on the return policy and if you want to chance it taking an in person look.
If you do, post a ton of pics and @ me :}

Hard to judge the cut quality because it is out of focus but it looks yummy moving!
I think the camera just could not focus on it, worth an in person check if interested.

The credit for the cushion find goes to 0-0-0. It was $489.00 from Calavera.
I've been watching the hexagon for a few months at least. The first price I saw was $77?.00 then it jumped to $99?.00 for some reason. After that price jump I was out. (Because I'm so cheap...cheap) I emailed Calavera and bought it for $534.00. It may be pretty nifty. Neither one is a "special" but what the heck, my wife's happy.

If a round diamond has an "exceptional light performance grade" by IGI, does that indicate that the CVD graining that I can see is not/will not affect its performance?

no lp grade does not take into account transparency issues.
