Leon quoted me $2200 for labor and metal. The sidestone will be extra. I will know how much those cost once he picks them and I agree to them.

I know, right?!?!? Dude, I totally started crying when LM sent me a quote via email. I had been waiting and was so nervous I wasn''t going to hear from him plus you know, you read some horror stories on here about how he can be . . . ermmm . . . a little difficult?? heehee. Yeah I was totally overanxious and going nuts til I got that wonderful email from him.

Another thing, this blog has made me absolutely jewelry crazy! I mean, I''ve ALWAYS loved jewelry, and I own a ton of it, but I''ve never done the custom thing. Now I have all these potential projects I wanna do and I''m like whooaahh, slow down there, Stephanie. One thing at a time! hahahaha

Met with Leon today. I feel a bit silly, but he was very nice and personable and I was scared of him for nothing! Hahaha! He said I did very well with my center stone. He couldn''t believe it was SI2 when I told him! It took him a while to find anything in the loupe. Thank you, Jonathan!

We picked out a pair of G, VS2 .32 bullets for the sides. It''s gonna be ready in 4-6 weeks. I am MORE than excited!!!! I cannot wait for it to be done. I know it''s going to be gorgeous!

He showed me some potential cushions for the sides, too, and while they were beautiful, I dunno, I''m not so into the 3 cushion look.

Small bullets are a great choice and Leon will minnimize the amount of metal like noonelse can.

And I want to show pictures! I will totally share when it''s ready. Jonathan wants to make a video of the ring, too, when it''s done. I''ll post that as well.

sooo it''s been a little over 4 weeks and i''m still waiting. (leon said my ring would take 4-6 weeks.) i think at around 5.5 weeks i will follow up. in the meantime, i''m trrrrryyyinngggg to be patient!
