The admin is usually more than happy to re-open closed threads like that one, so that you can keep everything in the same place.

I had Andrey re-open the "plain bands" thread for me a little while back

ETA: I just messaged admin asking them to re-open, should be accessible soon!

Why do they get closed? I bet there's plenty of lovely newer acquisitions that could be added!

It''s an automatic thing, I think. Threads become dated, but some readers don''t notice... reply asking a question, wonder why they don''t get a response, all without realizing that the thread is 4 years old and the people they''re asking the questions of have already stopped visiting PS long ago...

Just a guess! I''m sure there''s a better reason than that.

Yes, I had to shoot off, so I forgot to add to message our admin and they may be able to reopen it, but I see Musey sorted it!
