Intro pearl purchase help— $200 budget

They arrived today! DH let me inspect them to be sure they were what I wanted... I snapped a quick pic and now they’re put away until Mother’s Day. I can see how this can be addictive! They’re surprisingly heavy for smallish pearls (7.5-8.0).

Now to pick out just the right neckline for Mother’s Day...

A bit of an update! After opening the gift on mother’s day, I decided to exchange for larger pearls. I also ordered an orbit clasp. Here is the new strand, and it’s a keeper! 8.5-9.0 AAA freshwater. I requested a “cooler” strand if possible. I can definitely see the eggier quality to the pearls, but I am not bothered by that as they’re worn. I have all sorts of ideas for my pearl wishlist now. Earrings are 9.0-10.0 metallic fw drops, also from the sale!

And just for comparison, here is a pic of me in the freshadama strand when I tried them on mother’s day morning. I love the look of the larger pearls, but I had to keep the gift within budget for the exchange, so I went with the AAA. I’m already thinking of a freshadama white strand (graduated?) or maybe Tahitians. Saving my pennies.
