Yeah, but since you have a three-stone, you can combine that weight! You must be getting some nice size earrings!

Here''s the thing.....I''ll need a little input in tweaking the design a bit for the dangly part.

I want something a little detailed and more fluid on the lower piece of the setting (where the stones go). I think....not sure how to modify that to see something a bit unique. Not unique as in NEVER EVER BEEN DONE.......(which is why Belle''s pendant crumb seemed to interesting to me......I liked the flow), but something that''s a bit more embellished than what that picture shows.

Any ideas, anyone?

ooo, AL gorgeous, gorgeous earrings you posted there

hmm belle, we'll I subscribe to DS's theory that I don't want the total carat weight of the earring to be more than my e-ring so I'm thinking .70's- .75's but I'm not a clarity nut so SI2's would be fine with me
11.gif

That total cwt thing? Yeah....crazy! I'm going more than my e-ring stone, and I'm thrilled. (each stone is smaller, but their combined weight is bigger.)

well, that's why I'll purchase some that qualify for an upgrade, b/c we all know how diamonds shrink and I could easily though the cwt theory out the window
3.gif

are you setting your stones in settings like you posted???

ETA: just read your above post...

What about using Belle''s pendant design for that part?

I've ALWAYS LOVED those......except for one thing. The setting is static on the leverback wire, and I don't want them static. I want them to swing and move.

I don't know if it would be possible to modify those to swing freely.....partly because the basket part is below the diameter of the stone, so how would it attach to the lever-back piece?

Doesn''t Belle have the W-prong setting? I''d want the w-prong earrings to go with that!

Al, love your earring idea but agree it needs to be more fluid. Maybe if the base was wider and tapered up it would give it a more graceful line.

Okay...

So... Option 1: $43,055.00. Clarity is a bit high, but since the color and the flour balance it out.

Mmm, nice asschers, Gypsy! I''d like one of those, too! I didn''t think of looking for asschers. I could start over now and spend Ellen''s money.

Okay, I HATE photoshop but this gives you the idea. I worked on the left earring. I also LOVE the idea of a few melee burnished in there.

ETA: whoops. I am tired. I reworked the right earring NOT the left. Keep in mind I only worked on it for maybe 10 seconds. I am sure Irina could do a beautiful job.

I love your new picture, Tacori! Is that your wedding bouquet or a BM bouquet?

Actually they were the center pieces. I did have one of my bouquet (stems and my hands) on here for a few weeks but I wanted something more colorful.

Yeah, I loved that picture, too! But this one is beautiful with the blue flowers!

I like the change you did to Alj's earrings!

Thanks J! The vases were square glass and she lined them with grass on some and leaves on the others (to hide the steams, floral foam). It gave them a really cool, modern look.

Oh, that''s not even where I was talking about, but I LOVE that modification.

I''m talking about the part that surrounds the diamond....what would normally be called the head on a ring. The prong area. What cups the stones.

That is what I''m looking to modify in some way so it looks a bit more.....elegant, I guess.

Oh! Well you could use belle''s design around the diamond or the Leon style prongs. I do like how the hanging part (not sure what the name is) looks on my modified one. Otherwise it looks like the diamond was just stuck there without a thought. A thin bezel would be lovely as well.

Ok Al. I got inspired by your beautiful pendant. Hope you don''t mind.

The other one is the same as the one you posted with shaved off prongs (?) and the adjusted hanging part.
