Hi there, I‘m from Germany, so sorry for the bad english.
I have purchased a Brilliant with this Attributes:
Shape: Round Brilliant
Measurements: 7,67 - 7,70 x 4,91 mm
Carat Weight : 1,84 ct
Color Grade: Fancy Blue (Treated Color)
Clarity Grade: I1
Cut Grade : Excellent
Polish : Very Good
Symmetry : Very Good

It has been certificated and sealed by AIG (Antwerp International Gemological Laboratories).

I have purchased it from an auction for 1000€ and they told me it‘s 3000-4000€ worth. Is that true? Please help me somebody, I‘m frustraded.

I have no idea of the value of treated stones, but I would advise you to never buy diamonds with the intent to resell and make money. Even those who know quite a bit about diamonds know that it is very hard to do that. Valuations are often inflated. But you don't have the knowledge of the kind of stone you bought to have any idea if the value is true or not. Treated diamonds are worth far less than untreated diamonds of similar quality. I1 is low clarity and that contributes to lower value. So I really hope you bought this because you love it, because I doubt you'll make money. But you can maybe find comps online.

It's certainly not worth anywhere near what they told you. I'd say it's worth about what you paid at the most, perhaps a little less (like @diamondseeker2006 said above).

I agree with the others. Irradiated diamonds are typically among the cheapest of the natural diamonds out there, as the lowest quality rough is usually used to produce them. I don't think you overpaid, but you're definitely not going to be making any money by flipping it. The examples posted by @diamondseeker2006 are pretty representative of what the market price for your diamond would be, which is somewhere between $1000 and $1500.

Also, note that the "market price" or the price that actual resellers are charging, is not what you should expect to get if you were to sell it yourself. As a private sale, I would imagine you would get somewhere in the $500-1000 range for it.

As noted by @diamondseeker2006, never buy diamonds with the intent of making money unless you really know what you're doing, and never listed to a shady auctioneer or "wholesaler" when they tell you it's worth X amount of money.

Think about it, if it were really worth 4X the amount of money they sold it or auctioned it to you for, don't you think they would be selling it themselves at that price?

I second Diamond Seeker's comment. The diamond is so unattractive in the photo that you showed us that its primary value is that it is a diamond and therefor someone, somewhere will think it has at least this value and buy it hoping to find someone who would think it was worth even more.

You definitely do NOT want to be the end of the chain of buyers.
