How Does One "Name" a Diamond?

I've never been into naming my diamonds - it never even occurred to me. But when I got my yellow diamond, little miss sunshine just popped into my head, probably because I liked the movie.

My awesome BF named my band "The Beast" :\ (BF bc I have my band but undecided on the ering, so not official...yet! I like Marlowe! What about Vivian? Classy, sophisticated, and also my daughter's name. You can borrow it for your ring name if you want, lol.

What a fun thread. I'm boring, I've never named a diamond. Not even referred to them as He or She. LOL Just "the ring" or "the diamond". Maybe I just need inspiration. Lovely pictures everyone.
