I LOVE the shutters! Why didn''t any of us think of that? (Well, I wouldn''t have because I am not creative, but still!) It''s so much more exciting than white, and yet isn''t OTT. It''s perfect...it came out just wonderfully! More pics! In the sun! In the shade! Handshots! Something, anything!

AHHHHHHH I LOVE IT! The lilac was a fantastic choice! I love the 4 color combo shot but the one with the flowers is amazing! It''s gorgeous, seriously! It has so much more personality now than it did in its past white life! For some reason I want to say congratulations, so...congratulations on your gorgeous newly painted house!

Hi Starset ... funnily enough this shot *is* what it looks like from the road. As happens with a lot of old houses, its sooooooo close to the road its almost scary. And our little lane is TINY. So no one will get a much more distant view of the front of the house than THIS.

hahahaha! I LOVE it!!!! I think the blush of lavender on the shutters and screen door is brilliant - it bridges things in such a lovely way! Excellent choice and I''m still super glad you went with mystic - it''s just the best purple ever! I''m glad to see the barney green/purple go... I think the light color on the shutters makes the whole thing look breezy without looking overly crisp on an older house. I like your choices better than anything else that was suggested!

BUT.... I see a red door peeking out and I can''t see it well... how are you feeling about that?

This is my favorite shot! It looks magazine perfect; cozy and inviting. Makes me want to pop over for a cup of tea.

Purple and white was the best combo; unexpected and fresh, yet somehow still classic.

What a lovely home.

I think it turned out great, especially with the white picket fence. Seeing the plants makes me realize how many colors go with purple (green foliage, yellow and red from the flowers)
