This is your opinion.Again, it has nothing to do with her beliefs, it's her actions. Her actions are not "perceivably" heinous, they are objectively heinous.

I saw a meme once that said "political parties are religions" which seems to be the case these days. It is very sad indeed if people choose not to interact because the other person is a member of another political party.
Again, your opinion.Absolutely nothing to do with political parties either. I have dear friends who are republican who also agree that Huckabee is despicable.
People's "politics" aren't an abstract concept that exists only at election time. Their politics reflect their world view and how they think the world should be. If they think the world should be hateful and that not everyone is entitled to basic human rights, then they won't be a friend of mine and I won't make any effort to interact them regardless of which party they belong to.It is very sad indeed if people choose not to interact because the other person is a member of another political party.
What are your thoughts on this?

People's political views are usually determined by their personal views of how they feel the country's government should function, at least mine are. I don't believe that SHS thinks those things you listed though.People's "politics" aren't an abstract concept that exists only at election time. Really? I despise Trump (and am no fan of Ms. Huckabee), but were I a customer in that intimate restaurant, that kind of vocal grandstanding on the part of the restaurant proprietor would have prompted me to push myself away from the table and out the door. Unless I knowingly attend a fundraiser of a partisan nature, I don't go out to dinner in the hope of hearing political diatribes -- of any stripe.I* * * if I owned the place I would not have refused to serve her even though I think she is a disgusting individual who should feel nothing but shame for the lies she perpetrates. I would have told her exactly what I thought of her and hopefully she would leave of her own volition.
Were you as rigid with Jay Carney and George Stephanopoulos? I actually liked Tony Snow best of all. The point was the service in a restaurant. Everything else is personal opinions. She lies to the American people. That is not my opinion it is fact. It is my opinion that a press secretary that lies for an immoral administration acts heinously. If that's not your opinion, I'm sorry. I wouldn't want to live in your world either.

No, the point was: she wasn't denied service because of her political party. I don't know what being "rigid" with political operatives means so I can't answer that. I will admit I enjoyed this interview with Stephanopoulos calling her out on her lies!

Back to the tomato to-mah-to thing. She is a member of the Republican party and works for the POTUS. You are parsing words.
To do what the proprietor did is not how I want my world to be.
Well we both must be pretty bored today to be debating such trifles as Sarah Huckabee's dining experiences. If ever there was a time to sport Melania's jacket, this is it! After all, we both live in a world where a corrupt, immoral, lying, misogynist, gold-star family denigrating, war hero shaming, contractor-stiffing, racist sympathizing man is president AND he enjoys the vehement and undying support of about 1/3 of our fellow American citizens. Who really cares if Ms Huckabee had to settle for takeout one night?
Now now, be fair. Both sides do it!Remember when Obama made fun of a disabled reporter? Or that time he bragged about grabbing women by the p? And don’t forget when he called ball players SOBs for civil disobedience, or when he saluted the generals of North Korea.
Yep I am pretty bored. DH and sons are gone to visit his parents. I'll pass on the rest of your post as I do most of the political stuff on here. Have a nice week MariaDWell we both must be pretty bored today to be debating such trifles as Sarah Huckabee's dining experiences. If ever there was a time to sport Melania's jacket, this is it! Thank you so much for this posting, Jpie. I never even thought about this...how it would be impossible even to imagine President Obama doing any of those things. I have become so used to President Trump, that I just accept him as he is. I get angry, of course, but I have gotten used to living in a bizarre world and it is odd to reflect on what the world was like before he came into power.

Trump's tarriffs are really going to screw everything up....
Give Chuck Schumer some credit. Waters will destroy the Dem. party all by herself.

Having seen this story today, I was not surprised. This is the kind of hateful paranoia which will be released more and more. If the prez can make these character damming accusations, has no filter, then why should they? Because he is ‘iconic’ to them, they follow leaving common sense behind....and then there is that shining example of purity and honesty on a hill: Donald Trump. Clean, bright, a knight in shining armor. Someone who NEVER threatens anyone and never casts aspersions. Is it too much to say he is Christ-like? He inspired ttis woman in her rant at the two Mexicans doing yard work. He certainly inspires me.

"We reserve the right to refuse service to Trump supporters"Tomato To-mah-to. Perhaps the proprietor needs a sign in her window so no one of the perceived incorrect beliefs enters the establishment. Is that where we want to go? If you don't want me there then I would like to know ahead of time.
snip... Shouldn’t we all be outraged and shouting it from the rooftops? ...snip
