Hi all,

You guys were a big help with the first batch of diamonds I looked at - looking to make a final selection on one of the below.

Looking to choose one of the following diamonds for an engagement ring with CAD prices (I converted to USD as well for easy review). I've gone in and all looked at them all and to the naked eye - they all look fine to me:

* 1) 1.20 Carat - VS2 - F = $13,080 CAD / $9999 USD
* 2) 1.22 Carat - VS2 - H = $11, 780 CAD / $9000 USD (Jeweler recommended this one)
* 3) 1.31 Carat - SI1 - G = $12,880 CAD / $9846 USD
* 4) 1.34 Carat - SI1 - F = $13,250 CAD / $10129 USD

The GIA reports for all are also linked [Here](https://imgur.com/a/bvgew2U)

Thanks in advance for your help!

The only one I like in terms of stats/numbers is the last one (1.34 SI, F). But the inclusion plot is a little scary. Can you get pics/video/any advanced images?

Whats the big issue with the stats/numbers on the other ones?

I've seen that one in person like I mentioned and to the eye I cannot see much as well as under the scope.

If I go back in tomorrow to take another look at them all - what is one thing I should look out for under the scope.

Thanks!

First one has an HCA score over 2 = reject
2nd one is the same
3rd one is the same

None of the first 3 will be good performers compared to actual ideal cut diamonds.

4th one has an HCA under 2, which means it has potential. But you need advanced images to make sure. My concern is that they are trying to sell you any of the first three, since they aren't great.

Also, everything looks good in jewelry store lighting, even poorly cut stones.
Numbers we recommend are:
Table between 54-57 or 58
Depth between 60-62.4
Crown between 34-35
Pavilion between 40.6-40.8

You can go to a 40.9 on the pavilion! :)

I wish I had a good jeweler nearby - I want to go and check out the higher crowns at the boundaries of HCA acceptability, such as 35.5 and 36 degrees!
