Help picking out engagement ring

...this will put me way out of the budget I started out with, but oh well, she is worth it. <---- this is soooo sweet!!

I talked to someone from JA regarding this ring and he thought it looked great and said from what he can tell it is eye clean. However, I did order the idealscope and asked that one of their gemologists look at it. GREAT!!! I hope it comes back looking awesome!!

Hi everyone! I had James Allen order an idealscope for 3 diamonds, including the 0.98 diamond recommended above. Today JA called me and said they examined all three and that the below diamond was the best of the bunch. The 0.98 diamond, which was the most expensive, was the one they least recommended because it was not eye clean due to a feather. Of the 3 rings, the one they recommended was the middle priced diamond at just a little under $5K. But that is not counting the setting I went with.

So I just ordered the ring and it is now in production. Thanks so much for everyone who offered advice on this thread as I truly learned a lot that helped me make the final selection. Hopefully this thread will help others looking for a similar ring in the future.
