I recently received my ring and unfortunately, the jeweler whom i am committed to did not properly execute the halo for my ring. He used 0.025 stones in the halo which makes the ring look extremely bulky and actually make the center stone (round 3 ct) look smaller. after browsing price scope I have fallen in love with a ring posted by Beacon. I would really like to know the details to have my ring reset like this one. Here is the link to the photos of her ring. if anyone can provide any information regarding the melee size of the stones in the shank and the halo for this ring or if anyone has any suggestions, I would very much appreciate it. Thank you!

can we see your current ring

thanks ladies! Both LM and VC make absolutely stunning halos. unfortunately, I can not go with another jeweler as we have already paid too much for the setting. Our jeweler has agreed to make the necessary changes. I just want to be sure that the second time around it will be closer to what I was looking for.

The setting for Beacon's ring is from Joe Escobar in San Jose. It is one of their stock settings and the price is great for the quality (I think it's about 5k), and it is gorgeous in person. Ask for Erik or Mia at Joe Escobar and tell them it's Beacon's Micropave Halo Split Shank and they will know which setting it is.

I wouldn't bother with custom, I'd just call and get it from Joe E.

As for your current jeweler.

You had a contract. He didn't fulfill his part of it. It's a breach of contract. And you get your money back. Yes, even if its custom and they have a no-returns possible. You don't have to keep working with them and let them correct it. No matter what they tell you.

IF they could have done it right, they would have done it the first time. They didn't. Hopefully you paid with a credit card and can dispute the charge since it is a non-PS vendor if they give you trouble.

Thanks for the advice gypsy! I'll see what we can do.
