Hi All,
Currently deciding between two diamonds and I figured I would make a post before pulling the trigger. I've gotten great feedback on this forum and just wanted some validation before I make my final decision.
GIA on James Allen:

WF:

The WF rep I spoke to noted that the ACA will be eye-clean, and, specifically she said: "When looking at the 1.334 at 6 inches (which is about as close as most people can focus) I had to examine the diamond for several minutes, rotating it and rocking it, before I saw anything. What I did see was very small, and light in color (I actually louped it when I saw it to verify what it was I was actually seeing). With this diamond in particular, I would expect this inclusion only to be seen with a trained eye. I tend to be pretty picky when it comes to clarity and this is not something that would bother me personally."
As for the James Allen diamond, the GIA report looked pretty clean and that diamond is a VS1. Still, I was told that the optical symmetry of the ACA was much better and if they are both eye-clean then there is really not a ton of difference, but I am a novice and the difference in clarity between the reports is something that caught my eye.
I guess my question is whether I should sacrifice the clarity grade for the ideal specs of the ACA diamond.
Thanks so much!
Daher
