Well, I got my new diamond and I love the diamond, but I am very disappointed in the setting. I just got a six prong, 18 karat gold setting and it’s very thin and doesn’t look very well-made. The diamond on the other hand is gorgeous..

It is beautiful! Sorry about the setting. Did you get the 2.5 mm or the 1.7 mm setting?

Well, the entire thing went back to Ritani tonight. I am going to keep the diamond but they would not let me have it uncounted here. It’s already on its way back and it will take 2 weeks with Yom Kipper closing them Tuesday / Wednesday. I’m going to just get a new head from my 2.10 and make that into a pendant.

Well, that should have said unmounted. We had a disagreement on my setting that was supposed to be 2 mm but was actually 1 mm. No way I do a 1 mm setting. How in the world will I last 2 weeks?

Question because I recently stumbled upon Ritani and noticed their insane prices! What did you mean perhaps you lost out on the diamond, is it that they sell you one and they send another? Or, they sell it, realize it's amazing, then tell you it is no longer available?

Well, after all that they ended up sending me the wrong Diamond. This is Diamond number two and I wanted Diamond number three so again this is all going back and I’m still waiting for Diamond number three.
