What will I wear them with? Everything!
Hehe. Actually, I will wear them with nearly everything... all of my ''work clothes'' are in browns, muted greens, slate blues, or patterned-with-reds-and-browns, and lots of black. All of which will work just fine with a little pair of ''aubergine'' babies like these.
Also, I tend to wear things that are pretty subtle, fashion-wise, with a single element of POW! somewhere. Sometimes it''s one of my hairsticks, sometimes it''s a necklace, or spunky knee socks under my shirt/pants. I''ve done it before with shoes, namely the metallic blue flats I wore to death. (RIP, babies! I miss you so!)
I was looking for ''office shoes'' and the reviews on these gorgeous little shoes were just so glowing (the references to ''SUPER COMFY!'' and ''like flamenco shoes'' made me fall in love
) I found myself seriously considering them.
They also come in a range of other colours, although Zappos doesn''t have all the colours... I think Shoebuy has all the colours, but it looks like they are currently out of stock?
That''s where I bought them from... for $20 cheaper than Zappos
.
The other pair of shoes that really tickled my fancy were these Pin Up Chick in Green (make sure to click on ''multi view'' so you can see the bottoms and the little chicken detail!) but they don''t look the least bit practical, so they must be admired from afar.
