Does this feather post any risk for bezel setting?

I’m researching the setting idea for my cushion diamond. Ideally I would like to bezel it. But there is a big feather at one side near the girdle. I’m not sure whether it posts any risk.
It is a GIA SI 1 and ~10mm in dimensions. Diamond expert, what do you think? Whether my stone will survive the bezel setting process?
