Hi whitby,
I have a graduated 5 stone. It's one ctw and is a shared prong. Here it is with my sapphire ring. I think using your diamonds that way would be a great idea!
I like that, looks like it has a vintage kind of flare to it ehh?Date: 7/7/2009 5:15:32 PM

D&T-
love the bezels! and i''m actually thinking of bezels as one of the possibilities - something along *these* lines (granted, not a bezel as such, but a ring with the stones set *into* it)....
what do you think?
And what do you think of my lovely age spots??Date: 7/7/2009 6:00:07 PM

I know you''ve seen my ring before, but I wanted to post handshots for perspective.
Size is 8. Stones graduate from 0.25, 0.33, 0.38, 0.36, 0.29
love yours, meluppy - and you know that i do! i want a yellow gold shank, but a plat/white gold head. i've gone back and forth on this a thousand times and am no closer to making a decision. if i could make a decision on it i'd pull the trigger for Christmas and send the stones off to leon in early october. i like the amount of graduation that you have - that's about what i have in mind; i still want to wear it against a wedding band, so i dont want the angle to be too acute.Date: 7/7/2009 5:57:35 PM

I think something like this (minus the huge center stone) would be lovel. Its a Mark Morrell.
EDIT - darn the picture didnt come across.
Here is the link...its 3/4 down the page and its a 7 stone with a large center stone. I think a 5
stone version of this would be lovely (minus the big center stone).

D&T - thank you so much! can you tell me where the photo of the gold ring came from? i really like it - reminds me of upgradable''s, which i''ve always loved.
please keep me up to date with your progress on this project, and i''ll let you know if i make any firm decisions.
