Do "K" color diamonds w/Strong Blue Flor. still show color?

Re: Do "K" color diamonds w/Strong Blue Flor. still show col

So to actually answer your question, it may show color (particularly from the side) but I don't think it will bother you AT ALL. For me personally, I will never buy a higher color diamond again. Give me BGD Blues as low in color as possible!

the diamond looks beautiful, it's a very soft off white and looks like it has lots of sparkle!!!!, but are you now changing your mind about a pink diamond halo??

I think that it's important to mention that fluorescence only impacts a stones 'whiteness' in certain lighting conditions. The impact of fluorescence is seen under UV lighting so you won't notice any real benefits in office lighting, incandescent lighting, LED etc that you find in most environments that you find yourself in.

I think that fluorescence is super cool like a lot of people here so I wouldn't recommend against it, I would just caution that if you are hoping that your stone won't look like a K colored stone because of the fluorescence then you will probably be disappointed, unless of course you spend the majority of your time in long wave UV lighting environments.

Here is a thread with links to others that you may find helpful...

Sorry for rehashing an old topic but in your opinion how would you say your stone would compare with a J or a K stone with no fluorescence?
