Probably called it a tactic, but that''s because she always seems like she''s putting on a show, IMHO.

I think if it were any woman, it would not be received so well.

Moreover..in my experience yuppie doesn''t have a negative connotation like redneck does. And redneck is usually followed by white trash. So we''ll have to agree to disagree on that one.

Actually, yes I have! I''m from a very rural area and there are all sorts of rednecks there. I knew several African-American rednecks in high school.

Well we''ve had differently life experiences then. Because where I am from (not a rural area anymore) I''ve only heard white people called that followed by white trash and it''s very offensive to me.
