Here is my early Valentine's Day present. I just love this Amethyst ring! It's 8mm cushion cut with .12 of diamonds on the band. It was inexpensive and just perfect for everyday wear. I love amethysts as you can wear them with anything and I tend to wear a lot of pinks, blues, and purples.

Just discovered this thread and I''m only halfway throught it. I just LOVE all of your rings.

The variety and color of stones is great. Please continue to give as much info about the stone as you know especially info on the color ie. London Blue. This thread is valuable for setting ideas as well. A few stones have really different cuts and yet look GREAT as rings. Some stones I wouldn''t have considered cause of the odd shape obviously can be made into beautiful rings. Thanks for opening my eyes to new choices!

When I 1st got the ring I tried to be careful but I still find myself banging up my ring. The stone seems to be in good shape.. No chips yet.. Hahaha.. Plus, I think the halo kinda protects the morganite a bit..

It is 9.8 x 7.8 x 5.5
3.17 carats
Heat treated
set in a custom made 14k wg setting
with .49 ctw diamonds
