hi @CharlotteYork! I’m wondering if your rings are back from WF and specifically how the e-ring worked out. I feel like my ACA (similar size to yours) sits so “squat”, and although I can’t imagine being without it for a few weeks, had thought about sending it to be adjusted. Can you share a profile pic please? Thanks!

I was also thinking that if her revised setting turns out less 'squatty' and more like @Miki Moto's Tiffany setting, that I might have WF remake mine too. But I should really leave it alone because I was very happy with it before seeing the side profile pics of @Miki Moto's ring.

OMG, me too! If it wasn't for @Miki Moto's photos, I wouldn't have been overthinking this. But hers is so dreamy and mine is so.... squatty, lol

Hi @HappyNewLife, I am so embarrassed that I am just now seeing this!! I just checked your profile because I remember you saying that you were experiencing DSS, and I was wondering if you had upgraded to the 4 carat!

Honestly, if I could do it all over again, I would purchase the Vatche U-113 and ask if they could make the band slightly wider (I prefer a wider band, which is partly why I took the custom route).

Saintly WF remade my ER three times... we just never could get it right, and it was a very frustrating experience for us both. I think my ring is less squatty now??? Here are some pictures...

I may eventually change the bands... the head on the Vatche is perfection, and I don't like how angular my prongs are now. But more pressing... I am thinking of switching the setting on my eternity band. After all that back and forth, it still eats my prongs, and it has been sitting untouched in my jewelry box. I want to reset my stones (or possibly upgrade from 8 points to 10 points) into a bead set band. I bought this fakie to test drive, and I think it is the prettiest band I have ever seen! (I loooove the pave on the sides!) And it doesn't cut into my prongs!

Are you still thinking of upgrading to the 4 carat? It has been on my mind lately too, although it won't be any time soon (prices have indeed gone up).... That might be the time for me to switch to the Vatche!

I'm sorry you've had trouble getting the head like you want. I definitely see what you mean. Mine is very close to the Tiffany in seeing the pictures. Yours looks much better now. I really dislike squatty heads in this design. There is a perfect medium height and otherwise it's squatty or the stone is set too high. I wear the smaller Tiffany Legacy bead set band with mine and it is low enough not to touch my prongs. There is a larger Legacy band size that might give you an idea for height if you have a chance to visit Tiffany.

I think I’m the only one on this forum that likes squatty heads.....I actually love your setting @HappyNewLife.....
I chose the cathedral setting for my CBI diamond and I couldn’t wear it. It was WAY too high. I ended up sending it back to HPD and Melissa helped me choose a Sholdt setting that’s just come out of retirement. It sits very low and there’s no donut.
It’s due to arrive in a couple of days.
