Had a 1.5-2ct-ish pink tourmaline in its box for years, finally found the right setting. I'm still waiting on it but so excited! Heidi Gibson setting with diamonds and white sapphires in YG.

I also just received a ring from my now fiance last week and so I am loving all the new shiny things!

I ended up to buy this from Chris Auletta. 3.17ct Precision-Cut Spinel by Gene Flanigan. It’s very dark, totally mysterious and definately my first spinel

That is one dark and mysterious looking stone. Very pretty!
What's the setting in the second to last pic? I think it would look pretty in one like that...or with a diamond halo (because I'm crazy about halos).

I have purchased this 2.08 ct Umbalite Garnet from Jeff Davies...now the wait begins. I've never ordered from him before and don't know how the stone will compare to his photo of it. I am hoping for fuchsia, a variation of pink/purple.

It’s cut by Troy Richardson of excess designs but he didn’t sell it to me. It was a commissioned piece by another gem lover and she was ok to sell it and I just jumped on the opportunity. Troy took some amazing pics for me though. He’s an expert photographer, his pics are really artistic. Here are the pics he took.

Someone got the 2ct Mahenge garnet on Jeff Davies website that I had been looking at...it was round, $295 I think and such a gorgeous pink. I hope it's someone here and they post pics of it!!

David Klass made a new ring (not for me ). It's based on my flower ring and the new one is even better than I could have visualized. Look at that gallery! Can I call a do over?

It’s beautiful! It’s looks nicekyvsaturated. I have a pair a little lighter from him. It should be super sparkly. I was shocked at how long mine took to get to me (over 3 weeks).

It’s 1.3 carat and 7 by 5.5 mm and I think I may set it next year. I have bought many a rough of tourmaline to get cut so I want to see how they turn out first.
