Same feeling i had in that store lol!!

WOW, I hate going to Las Vegas....I just got back and saw a similar ring (HUGE HUGE asshcer) at the Bellagio (Fred Leighton)...

Almost died!

::faint::

Beautiful stone, but too much hoo-ha on the rest of the ring. I would have it set by itself in platinum.

I agree MB that baby doesn''t need anything else except a nice simple setting in platinum!!!!!

Oohh la la! I'll take one of those, please.

I was in Vegas and went into The Wynn (opened for 2 days) and walked by Cartier, holy smokes there are soo many HUMUNGUS diamonds at that store and on display. If your every down there, you've got to take a look. Now I wished I took some pictures to show people.

Geez, you could have a 1 carat surprise stone!

WOW!

Hmmm...it sort of looks like cut glass in the pictures...and the setting is too busy.
16 cts does sound nice though.

Wow, that''s closer to being a monument than a ring!

I can''t believe they let you take pictures!!!

When I was at Fred Leighton, they treated me like I was sh8t. I wanted to tell the freaking b-----ch that I could buy her several times over. Not the store, just her. At least it made me fill good.

Anne!

I felt the SAME way at Fred Leighton...I felt like I was scum...They kept their eyes on my the whole time like I was going to STEAL their wonderful jewels...

The sales people were rude...I won''t ever go back (not that I am a sale, since I cannot afford anything) to look!

I think the pave under the center stone is very interesting. What color would you guess the center stone is [I can't tell from pix]?

The first time I saw anything like that was in Van Cleef's a couple of years ago [albeit the center stone was quite a bit smaller and a different shape - marquise, as I recall, between 3 and 4 carats]. The ring was magnificent and the workmanship, incredible. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find anything like it on the net!!! [Should have made a sketch as I left the store!!]. Thanks for posting the pix.

Blu

ETA DUH! Just reread your post. Saw the center stone is an H color. Nevermind ....

Love the rock, hate the setting. Seems a bit overpriced too.
