I've currently paused my eBay hunt in favour of another project but when it's back on I'll find you here?? You've committed now you cant back out

Ps I was on the hunt for an antique watch, gold, no specific era, cheap (alas) just intricate and beautiful. Full working order, Swiss movement (I dont know what that means I just read it a lot ).

What era, Art Deco, cocktail 1950s 1960s. Diamond set, ruby or sapphire set, plain, covered face, gold bracelet (or gold fill is cheaper)?

OMG how omg earth did i miss this post?! Eek so many beautiful watches ok onto the serious stuff: Yellow gold. Solid. Either plain or any gemstone encrusted. Budget maximum £1000 but I'd prefer to spend waaay less then half. Like half

Bascially depending on how patient I am, my budget can go up or down...

Wow Bron, I am amazed at your vast collection!! I've got a watch question for you..... would you know where I can purchase a platinum watch band for my antique watch? My current band is stainless steel. Sorry to sidetrack the thread!
