Hi All,

I think that I've found my "diamond in the rough", but with the final decision imminent Im reaching out to the community that has given me so much direction in my search, for thoughts.

Specs:
-8 Pavilion Main Cushion Brilliant, with some extra facets that actually make it say Cushion Modified on the GIA.
-2.64ct
-D
-VS1
-8.94x7.68x5.19
-Polish VG
-Symmetry VG
-Table 57
-Depth 67.6
-Cutlet - med

Specifically, I'm very worried about the blue, and the dark green (and lack of red) on the edges. I have purchased the diamond and will soon see it in person, but I don't want to invest in something that is not a real star.

Thanks in Advance!

Does the vendor have this stone in house? I would ask them do a video, send it to you and post it here.

I still have trouble telling from the video as I have nothing for comparison.

When you get it check it for over darkness in the areas that are blue and check it for edge to edge brightness along the long sides.
All the videos and the images are over obstructed so its impossible to tell if the blue areas are over dark at a distance.

The obstructed north/south pavilion facets will probably turn on with east/west tilting..., such a video can be easily made and confirmed...

I like the overall appearance, facet design, and distribution of red, blue, green and leakage. The green and dark green (leakage) along W/E edges are normal from an elongated cut in general, especially for non-branded.
