I know I should post these pics in my old Malaya ring thread, but I"m too lazy to dig it up, so here are the pics, lol. The previous beaded band turned out to be too delicate for my daily wear (and I''m tough on my jewelery), so Kyle Anne redid it with a twist band.

Thanks! Glad I'm not the only one

D&T: Thanks, I like bezels too! I don't really have much of a collection, the pic of the 3 rings together is basically the extent of my notable collection. I also have a vintage garnet ring that I love. Hehe, most of my rings are el cheapo. This one was under 200$.

Hehe, I think the lotus setting is going to quickly become a PS favorite :) Let us know when you decide what to put in one! She recently made a two tone lotus (gold head, silver band) with a citrine that looked killer I thought.

PICTURES? need to see that one...I''m putting my yellow/gold/tourmaline in it, and if this two tone looks right, maybe it will be just right for my tourmaline too?

Here''s the link to the finished piece. I think the two tone looks nice, it makes the lotus stand out more I think :)

MTG- Is the twist band you have with the garnet more comfortable and sturdy than the previous dot band that you had?

Comfort is the same, but it''s sturdier in my opinion.

Oh that looks GREAT! Is is it WG or Sterling? I do really like the hammered effect. Do you plan on wearing it by itself or stacking it?

It''s sterling :) I"m not a huge stacking person, so I will most likely just wear it alone.

I think I need to pause the projects for awhile, I''m running out of fingers here! The nice thing is that this one sits so low and flush, that I can wear it as a thumb ring

I think it looks just GREAT -- OK so I said that already. LOL I'd love to have a stone put into this setting but I'm so nervous about sending it off. It's not that it was expensive, I just get attached to the stones and worry about them.

OK so maybe I've got a problem...maybe if I buy more stones I'll relax about them?

ETA: what mm size is your stone and do you feel that the bezel visually increases the size of the stone?? THANKS

The stone size is 6.8mm by 5.7mm, and I do think the bezel made it look bigger.
And it's not that bad shipping stones in the US because you can insure them, which makes me feel better :)
