Damn, the black one w. colored splashes is sold (of course!), but thinking about the white one w. splashes.

I think the pink one won't end up being "me" since I dislike pink usually. But I just can't get over how unique they are!

Are you looking at a white one wish splashes that is in Sheryl's studio or one that she's placed with a boutique? I only ask because I know she's taken some things to a boutique for an event in a few days and if that's the case let her know ASAP if you decide you want it so she can call it back before it gets sold. If it's in her studio though then that should be ok.

I like the white one with splashes a lot for spring/summer!

Messenger 2 and hobo 4 are my faves! Would have snapped them up if not for DH's pesky animal-loving feelings. grrrr (but not really, I love him).

I'd love to see non-hairy options!

Lovedogs, just got off the phone with Sheryl. She wanted to check with me to see what I had posted today in terms of non-hairy things to make sure everyone was talking apples and apples but I told her all I put up like that was the pinkish hobo. She's going to send you some pics right now. She also said you mentioned one of the pink/brown slings -- those are SO COOL! I saw them last night for the first time (she brought one when we had dinner) and I've never seen anything like it before.

ETA: The pink/brown hide is pretty in pics but it's much better in person -- it will knock your socks off!

I'm totally obsessed with the "multi-color" ones with the "splashes" on them. She said they are less "obviously" hide, which would be great for DH. Also she sent me some amazing pics of new leather one that look like reptile patterns. They aren't really my style since I'm not usually a fan of those prints. But I really hope someone who loves reptile patterns snaps them up soon because they are amazing. She's going to send me more pics of the "splash" ones since she's making new ones. I'm DETERMINED to buy a bag from her haha

Are you looking at the multi colored splash ones or the pink/brown ones (or both)?

Sheryl said she was going to throw in a little something (I also see the little coin purse) but I am super jealous of that glasses case! Red, if you let her know you like something similar she can keep her eye out when she picks the hides and maybe one will pop up. I was there yesterday and she had a messenger bag that was kind of the opposite, white with black as opposed to this one being black with white.

Lovedogs, she mentioned to me yesterday that you liked the dark one with colored splashes. Did she send you a lighter one with splashes or did I imagine that...? But I'm sure she'll look for more of the dark hide because it was so pretty and hopefully she'll find one and can make a bag for you!

Marymm, she's got quite a few right now (all the ones I posted on page 7 of this thread plus a beautiful brindle on page 2 and even some that I didn't put up pics of). Sheryl sent me a good photo if the row of them but I keep getting an error when I try to post it so here is one I took yesterday. She's also made a lot of totes, slings and clutches over the past several days -- she's had a productive spell!

Any pockets/compartments inside?
How would you describe the weight of the hobo (empty)?

I just weighed my hobo and it is 17 ounces (so just a smudge over one pound).

The bags are not lined. The hobos (and totes and messengers) have an interior pocket attached to the "back" of the bag. I just measured all of mine and they are consistent at about 9" wide and 6" deep. Here are a couple of pics using my iPhone 6 for reference. (It's a regular 6, not a 6 plus.).

Oof - sorry for the poor lighting! I didn't realize until I saw the pics posted how bad they were... but I'm holding the bag open with my left hand, I've got a mini-flashlight clamped between my teeth, and I'm taking the pic with my right hand. The CB is watching all this with MUCH amusement!

The CB and I went to a charity event last night with Sheryl and her boyfriend and I carried my clutch. There was a lady at the dessert table who I think was tempted to slip that baby under her own arm and run for the door, ha ha!
