It’s Jonathan’s (GOG owner) own CAD designThat's gorgeous!! Who makes this setting?
Oooo thanks! I follow him on Instagram and will take a look.If you go to his Instagram he has an image a while back of it with an AV cushion. It’s freaking perfection.I don’t know if it would be appropriate to screenshot it to here though because it’s not my image.
Ooo that is something i didn’t think about. Good to know! Would a channel set band prevent this issue as well?@hobbitfancier55 Hi! I do not have this setting but I do have similar. I wanted to point out that the open gallery can leave the pavilllion of the stone vulnerable if you are hoping to wear with a diamond band. I have a few bezels, so when I make a new ring I always add some kind of gallery to protect the pavilion since I like to wear bands with my rings. My pavilion was scratched by a diamond band and it makes me so sad....
Beautiful setting though if you wear with all plain bands or solo. Love the sleek lines!
ETA @elle_chris I believe it is from August Vintage.

BUT the tops/crowns of the diamonds are still exposed, and since the AV setting places the center stone pretty high I feel like you could still get scratching from the crowns of the diamonds on the diamond band. Definitely less risky than prong set though![]()
