It looks both substantial (from the top--wowza--huuuuge) and so delicate from the side! I am totally and completely in love with your ring. And the best part is that the stone is the star! This is the perfect home for your insanely beautiful antique oval!

I finally understand what people mean when they say that they can't capture the beauty of a stone in their photographs. I love all of the colors the stone throws off in outdoor light!

LittleSparkle, I couldn't focus at school! I was useless!

Laila, the finger coverage is even bigger than I thought it would be, but I'm really good with it. I just love the ring so much there's nothing I don't love about it!

Mom2boys, I actually blinded my hubby while we were looking at it outside. It caught the sun just right and it reflected a beam of light directly into his eyes, lol! I guess I'll have to be careful of that. It's a good problem to have though!

Thing2of2, I was planning to see if my grandmother's thin platinum band worked with the ring, but it really looks odd, so I probably won't wear a band with it unless people start shooting me dirty looks when they see an "engaged" woman toting 2 kids around and think that I'm "living in sin"!
