Here is the pic and the specs of the stone: (not the one I have on hold (2 chevrons), but the one with the nicer ASET (3chevrons):

Report: AGS

. Shape: Whiteflash ACA Princess

. Carat: 0.820

. Depth %: 58

. Table %: 62.3

. Girdle: Thin

. Measurements: 5.14-5.12X3.76

. Light Performance: 0

. Polish: Ideal

. Symmetry: Ideal

. Culet: Pointed

. Fluorescence: Negligible

Thanks!

Sal.

This is a beautiful Princess! I think you might have your depth and table percentages reversed?
It is just listed wrongly by WF, even on their website.

It is T 62.3%, D 73.2%. Somehow, they listed the Pav Depth instead of the total depth.

Thanks everybody for the feedback! I have some tough choices to make. Just some more info on it,Color: I and Clarity it is VVS2.

BTW I found this nice tool for getting a reference about sizes:

http://www.sizeasy.com/page/size_comparison/25347--92-vs-96-vs-82-vs-Box-Of-Matches-vs-Credit-Card

On that link I am comparing a .92 vs a .82 and a .96 carat diamond against a box of matches and a credit card, you can also make your own comparisons on that site.

Thanks!

Morning Sal.

Were you able to pick something out that you liked? Fill us in!

They were going to reshoot pics for diamond I got on hold from whiteflash, because apparently the diamond had dust on it. I should have the pics for it today, I am still waiting on them. But I am still undecisive about 3 diamonds

. Should I post the finalists? haha.

Thanks!

Are any of the previous diamonds I posted from JA nicer than any of these?

Thanks!
Sal.

I like the first two Whiteflash ACAs that you just posted. Number two would be my favorite.. i would check about the depth percentage at 58%. Is that the correct number? did you ask whiteflash about it? Most of the whiteflash ACAs depth% are around 70-74%.

However, I do think that these two posted are better than the ones you posted from JA. Remember that the first two ones from JA had 4 chevrons... i can''t remember if you are ok with that, or if you wanted to stick to 2-3 chevrons?

In summary, i really like that .82 ACA... ask about that depth percentage.

I went and checked the AGS report for that .82 diamond.

They placed the pavilion % by accident.

The actual depth to the .82 ACA is 73.2% It checks out great then!

All the other angles, percentages, and images check out.

Pick 2 is my favorite. Its also a 3 chevron diamond (if this has any importance to you). In addition, I think that 5.14 x 5.12 is a better ratio than the first diamond you have on hold, the .92.. 5.39x 5.29

Side note, i dont think you will notice a difference face up with the two diamonds (size wise)

Both diamonds are great Sal :D Good picks

-Ted

Thanks! the more I look at that .82 the more I like it :-) Thanks a lot for checking the numbers for me, I really appreciate it!! Most likely I will make a descision today..sooo I will keep you posted

Thanks so much!!!
Sal.

no problem! i look forward to hearing about your decision, and again, good luck!

-Ted

So far I would vote for the .82 WF ACA.

Sorry for the OCD, but I would just like to re-verify... these ASETs are better than the ones from JA right?

Thanks!
Sal.

Unless JA left that stone on hold for me without telling me, I think that one is gone

Thanks!

I am putting the .82 ACA on hold while I pick a setting.... Loong shot question here... If I like a setting from somewhere else... there is no chance they would set it for me, would they? (assuming I had to pay setting procedure)

Thanks!
Sal.

Depends. What setting? Designer? Set it by who? Ask WF if you are going to buy the setting and send it to them to let them set it.

Ok.. what may be my last question..... is the price a fair price?

Thanks!
Sal.

I saw this setting: (I''ve seen several ones, this is an example and one of my current favorites.. I am open for advice on this too!
emteeth.gif
I would like something that really makes the diamond stand out)
http://www.engagement-ring-mountings.com/classic_ring_settings_UNIQUE_TWO_TONE_GOLD_ENGAGEMENT_RING_SETTING_1799.htm

I would like for Whiteflash to set it since they do not seem to have anything even close to that.. but I wonder if they would do it, I do not know how common/bad is to ask that....

Thanks!
Sal.

WF pricing is competitive.

They do custom work and can copy almost anything GO FOR IT! Ask and ye shall receive!

WF do set their diamonds into setting from other companies. You will have to ask them the details.

Umm seems the workday is over for them and I never got a reply
33.gif
How can I purchase it and make them hold it while we get the setting?

send an e-mail through their message system online that you want to put that diamond on hold. They check it in the morning, and then call first thing :D

Good luck!

White Flash is great to work with and their pricing is very competitive! Congrats again!

When it comes to Diamonds OCD is the norm for most of us here. I am still trying to figure out why I still post here and look at diamonds daily when my buying days are done for a LOOOOOONG time to come.

Yes, you would need to check with them to clarify though.
