No, not a good cut. Do you run it through the HCA tool? Stones that score 2 or less are worth a further look.

Definitely not a good choice. Too deep, so you are paying for ct weight that you can't see (e.g. the weight is in the depth, which means it's invisible to you because you see the diameter when wearing it).

Also, the angles are too steep. This would be considered a "steep/deep" stone, which won't be a good performer.

Cut too deep! . a well cut 1ct should be closer to 6.45mm in diameter. This rough was forced up to a 1ct by the cutter.

thanks for all your suggestions! So is this means this stone is not worth for its price? I’ve seen the actual product before and i cant find any defect on it! But it fail to run the test through the HCA. So do i have a better choice within $5800? thanks!

Definitely not worth the price and you can find better. If you've looked at stones that are ideal cut and still prefer this one, no problem. But if you haven't, then it's hard to know what you're comparing to.

You can use the Filters to select AGS000 stones, which will be guaranteed to have good light performance, or you could search for GIA XXX but only with HCA scores that are Excellent.
