Hi
I am using the HCA calculator but it does not take into account star facet .
I usually see star facet at 50-55.
how does this star facet effect this diamond

VS1
F
57 table
61.9 depth
35.5 crown angle
40.6 pavilion
Slight thick facet (4%)
45 star facet

Lower half 80 percent
 
Longer lower halves produce thinner arrows and give the stone a more splintery(for lack of a better word) look. Longer lower halves tend to
be a benefit in bright lighting.

Shorter lower halves produce fatter arrows. Neither is wrong or right. Personal preference. Super Ideals usually
cut off at 78 % I believe. Dont hold me on that though. Shorter lower halves tend to "help" the stone in lower lighting situations.

GIA rounds to the neareast 5%.

Can you put the stone on hold and provide us a link or post a straight on picture of the stone and its GIA report?
 
You need to request an aset or ideascope image on this stone to check on light return.
 
Keep looking. The video shows the diamond is unevenly cut with very noticeable leakage.

It is easily searchable just with the information given in the OP. There are only a handful of 2.42 F VS1 in the market around the world.
The diamond has leakage and unevenly cut pavilion.

Cannot find this diamond online. It appears that only your local vendor has access to it. do you have any photo? The numbers look good. But as shown above, numbers don't tell the whole story.
