What a great surprise and what a GORGEOUS ring! I know you wrote about wanting another pave band, and as a long-time lover of all things symmetrical I get what you're saying, but with that AMAZING finger coverage from your HUGE new ring I don't see how you'd have room for another band LOL (which is a GREAT "problem" to have ).

Oh and I also LOVE LOVE LOVE the puppy pics ... aaaahhh, how ADORABLE!!!

CaratLover2: Yes an L color diamond look great in a halo, it makes the diamond stand out and not blend in with the halo and I think the color gives it an antique feel to the ring. I love the diamond

sortmon: I love your engagement ring and your puppy Phinney is so cute! I am not a hundred percent sure what breed Victory is I know she’s half German Sheppard, she was a adopted from a farm. I was going to buy a golden doodle but the hubby doesn’t believe in buying pets when there is so many in need of a home, so he surprised me with this one.

Rescue pets are the best, we have three. Enjoy that sweet baby, what a doll!

(eta: I have nothing against responsible breeding, but finding pets who needed us was the right choice for our family.)

KaeKae-that is so sweet that you have adopted three rescues, this is my first pet and I must say I love her, she brings so much joy to our house. My mother in law loves her and I bring her with us for the our morning walk and its a great routine for all of us. I don't know if anyone on here has ever dealt with a parent that has dementia, but a routine and healthy diet makes a huge difference.

Beautiful ring & what a sweet cuddledud of a puppy!!! I love that your husband adopted her from a farm - I have two rescue pups at home & volunteer with a rescue, and I can't even begin to say how happy they make me every single day (FI is very thankful we have a two pup limit where we live…lol). I'm so happy your husband brought you home such a great bundle of joy! I realize the rings are supposed to be the showcase here, but the puppies always get me - nothing beats waking up to pup kisses!
