Thank you @Slick1! Greg is now in seventh heaven lol. We had two trees on our property that were killed during the Xmas Eve storm and leaning against our house and our neighbor's house. He just went out there with his saw and took them completely down. I am sad the trees are dead but we will plant new ones. We are in the midst of saving a gorgeous big tree in our front yard so I am just glad that one is still OK.

Ok just asked him. He has a template and uses a drill hole guide that allows the diameter to be sized. Should have realized it has to do with his woodworking equipment hahahaha. As much as I love diamonds he loves his tools.

That’s fun! I couldn’t figure out how he could have done it and kept the foil flat like that!

Just bid & won this 2.48ct solid Australian Crystal opal from "Kucina Opals" on eBay. It is from Lightning Ridge & has a floral pattern when it comes to color play. It looks like it's own little galaxy or nebula inside there.

Has anyone purchased from them? This is my first time, but they included a video and it looks promising.

I know red is the rarest color seen in Australian opals but I already have a beautiful black Aussy opal ring that has every single color of the rainbow including red, so I keep gravitating to opals that have blue & purple lately & wanted something different for a change.

Hopefully it looks the same in person! Its a nice size too @ approx. 8x12mm. If it does look as lovely in person I'll need setting ideas!

I have been faffing around looking for an every day rose gold bracelet all year, and my heart fell for this one as soon as I saw it. I first saw it months ago (from an Australian Etsy seller) and it sold. I was a bit sad, but in no position to buy it at that time. I was perusing Etsy recently, and there was a new one in stock. It's on its way here and will go straight under the Christmas tree, so I won't be seeing it for a few weeks yet.
