I have issues because I just got my 4ct FY cushion in May. But I was back at the jewelry exchange to drop off a repair, and we all know how it goes. Decided to take a stroll down to my favorite vendor who scores the most amazing antique and estate pieces, and this ring screamed at me from the case!

She’s a 5.51 (I think) GIA J VS2 emerald cut, but a fatter EC like I like, with chunky but not too chunky facets. Half moons to each side. The price is such a steal. I can’t touch just this diamond within $25k of the price he’s asking for the whole ring on other vendor websites. Someone tell me to stop

@CSpan, it would have been brilliant but the seller never shipped it and has not responded to my emails. I had to open a claim with PayPal. Guess it was too good to be true.

I love it so much! It’s different enough from my cushion, right? A girl needs options! This pic was taken outside on a sunny day in indirect sunlight. I wanted to see how the J color looked outdoors. I actually think it faces up whiter than a J! For reference, my cushion is a K. Both GIA.

this is an amazing looking ring. Did I read it correctly that your jeweler is asking only 25k? That is insane! I actually love the hefty side stones as well. Good find.

I think I worded it confusing lol. I couldn’t touch just the center diamond for within $25k of what he’s asking for the entire ring when I looked online at some of my vendor resources. So a pretty darn good deal!

This ring is going back for a re-do.
It’s pretty, but it is not what it was intended to be, what it could be.

I made design choices that were apparent on the CAD. Those choices (unbeknownst to me) had consequences that the fabricators got to choose the considerations.
Although I would have rather been involved in that original choice making - as my taste and opinions are different - DKJ is the absolute best in situations like this.

Yes, it is a cats eye emerald. The side diamonds are .65 OECS. The rest of it is another .70 with the elongated baguettes, so total diamond weight is 2cts. The emerald is natural and likely unheated. The ring is from the 40S.
