I am wanting to cut a ruby so I am looking for an oval that works best with a dark stone and corundum's Refractive Index, If you know a cut that works well for this please let me know?
Do all ovals work in every type of stone? (E.G. with different Refractive Indexes?)
Which ovals work better with darker/lighter stones? (Does more facets vs less facets work better with darker stones)
And if you have any examples of cut stone's I would love to check em out.
Thank you!
Sorry for the slight double post. I made this post https://www.pricescope.com/communit...sion-cut-oval-looking-for-suggestions.244603/ But I was not clear I was looking for faceting diagrams.
